I began my career in clock repair in 1985 when I attended the Nashville Vo-Tech School in west Nashville that had a great watch and clock repair course. After completing the clock portion of the course I left to begin working on clocks in my spare time while not working at the Nissan Plant in Smyrna.

Well while working around jewelers I developed an interest in repairing jewelry and had the jewelers teach me when there was spare time. I quickly transitioned to repairing jewelry as my primary focus but continued to have a successful clock repair business located in Franklin Tennessee.

During this time I had come to know several people that were in the fire service and was encouraged to apply for a job at Columbia (Tennessee) Fire Department. After working there for three years I moved to the Franklin Fire Department and served there until 2007.

All along that time from 1993 until 2007 I had a successful jewelry repair business I operated on my days off from the fire department. It was located in Sparkman Jewelers in Franklin on Main Street. While there I not only did Sparkman? work but had accounts with Wal-Mart, Sam's Clubs, Sears, Diamond Outlet and Carlyle&Company as well as other stores in the Cool Springs Mall.

Unfortunately after 9/11 the economy decline took a heavy toll on family owned stores and the owner of Sparkman? decided to close. I continued to service my other accounts until 2007 when I moved to North Carolina to take part in the start up of another business. But after two years I realized how much we, me and my wife Terry, missed Tennessee and moved back and settled in Chapel Hill Tennessee.

So being in an area I love, Henry Horton Park, Duck River and numerous recreational activities such as hiking, canoe trips and a disc golf course I said if I live here I should work here and I opened my shop.

I have opened my jewelry repair shop inside Marshall-Williams Fine Jewelry and Apparel located at 111 North Horton Parkway Chapel Hill Tennessee. It seemed like a natural fit with Pat already having a nice selection of quality jewelry and some great clothes.

My goal is to provide quality jewelry repair at an affordable price to the people of this area as well as those that live in Lewisburg, Shelbyville and Columbia.
